Forest Planning: A Vision of the Verde Valley Landscape

The League is working with the Prescott National Forest and many other stakeholders to create a landscape vision for the Verde Valley.

Verde Valley Vision Statement Under Development

The League of Women Voters of Sedona-Verde Valley has prepared a draft landscape vision statement that incorporates community viewpoints developed at a public workshop held in Cottonwood in November.

The workshop was hosted by the League in partnership with the Prescott National Forest, Yavapai County District 3 Supervisor Chip Davis, Stewards of Public Lands, Verde Valley 4-Wheelers, Verde Valley Land Preservation Institute and Verde Watershed Association. The workshop report may be viewed at http://www.verdeconnections.com
